My Philosophy
I don’t believe in chasing symptoms, trends, or perfect numbers. I believe in understanding the person behind them.
My approach connects nutrition, metabolism, inflammation, the microbiome, sleep, movement, stress, and biomarkers to understand what may be influencing your health—and where meaningful change can begin.
I prioritize evidence over trends, whole foods before supplements, and thoughtful clinical judgment over algorithms. Testing and technology are tools, not the answer.
I work alongside your existing medical care, translating complex science and lab data into practical, evidence-based strategies you can understand, implement, and sustain.
The goal is not dependence on a protocol. It is agency. Know your body. Know your numbers. Know what moves them.
How My Work Evolved
I’ve spent more than 25 years in integrative medicine, beginning with Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine and Shiatsu. Over time my work moved toward clinical nutrition, systemic inflammation, the microbiome, metabolic health and women’s midlife health. More recently, I’ve also evaluated medical AI for clinical accuracy, evidence quality and usefulness for practitioners.
Technology and laboratory data can provide extraordinary information, but health still requires context, judgment, conversation and understanding the individual.
